The Moud rug tradition originates from the town of Moud in the Khorasan province of the Middle East, a region with a deep-rooted history in textile production. For generations, weavers in this area have refined a style that bridges the gap between nomadic influences and the sophisticated designs of urban workshops. This regional evolution has resulted in a distinct aesthetic that is instantly recognisable to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
